The arrival of Luka Modric and Toni Kroos to Real Madrid has forced other players in Real Madrid to stay on the sidelines and one of those players was the German defensive midfielder Sami Khedira who has not played an important for Real Madrid in this season and he is rumored to be leaving the Spanish club when his contract expires in June of 2015 or possibly even earlier during the January transfer window if any other club launches a good enough offer.
Arsenal and Chelsea are some of the clubs in the Premier League that have shown interest in signing him but taking into consideration all of injuries that continue troubling Arsene Wenger and his squad, it seems like Arsenal are in much more need of signing the experienced player.
Jose Mourinho already has at his disposal an impressive lineup of talented midfielder which includes: Andre Schurrle, Eden Hazard, NemanjaMatic, Oscar, CescFabregas and Ramires.
Arsene Wenger also has a number of talented midfielders in his team but more of them have been facing physical problems recently and it has prevented Wenger from using his entire lineup of main stars in a single match of the Premier League in this season.
If Khedira does decide to leave Real Madrid, it would be a better option for him to make a move to Arsenal as the German midfielder is going to become a regular first-team player instantly meanwhile in Chelsea it would be a little bit tougher as Mourinho has a wide variety of options but Wenger is limited.
Arsenal is also keeping track of Lyon’s Nabil Fekir. Fekir is a 21 year old promising figure who has a price tag of around £8million and if things fall into place then Fekir could become a player of Arsenal within the upcoming few months.
